Good evening!
Tonight, I am so glad and honoured that there are so many friends and staff from England, Austria, Singapore, Australia, Marcedonia, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Henan, Chongqing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi and Yixing, etc. gathers together to grace this auspicious occassion. Thank you for the support. Hua Ren has a history of 40 years and I am the leader for 30 years. Taking this Thanks-giving Day as an opportunity, on behalf of all staff of Hua Ren, I would like to express my most sincere thanks to all friends who have been very supportive towards the development of Hua Ren. At the same time, I would also like to take this opportunity to promote Hua Ren.
Hua Ren Group was founded in the autumn of 1972, 40 years ago. I spearheaded Hua Ren for 30 years from 25th March, 1984 to 25th March, 2014. Currently, I am still presiding works of all aspects.Hua Ren has two core businesses, namely the construction and real estate development. Our total production value is about 3 billion yuan per year. We are considered a small enterprise in Jiangsu as compared to other construction enterprises which produce more than 5 billion yuan annually. The reason for not expanding our business is due to our reluctance of 'franchising our name' to others.For large-scale and complex projects, Hua Ren directly manages and standardizes manpower, finance and material resources. This ensures that we focus on our operation and this leads to quality and construction methods are adhered to. Secondly, we can train and nurture our qualified young employees.In my self-assessment, Hua Ren is a law abiding and transparent company. Though Huaren is not a large corporation, yet it is a good enterprise and has won many awards.The size of real estate development by Hua Ren is not big in scale, with 1 million square meters or more over the past decade. In Wuxi, our projects include a 250,000 square-meter Renhe Garden, and a 360,000 square- meter integrated development - Phoenix City. In Chongqing, there is a 420,000 square- meter integrated development- Wan You Complex etc.Renhe Garden, Shanghai Yide Garden, Shanghai Jianlong Garden and Huaren Phoenix ccomplex have been awarded the Residential Classic Awards from the Construction Bureau.
With the dismal global economy, Hua Ren is lucky that we are still as lively and bustling as ever.30 years of hardship, joy, savoury and bitterness to develop the company has trained me to improve myself and enchanted me. I want to express my gratitude loudly. Thanks to our country’s Reform and Opening up policy which enable gullible and inexperience people like us to start a business. I wish to thank all for the concern and support given including the hard work and team effort of all staff.The effort we put up yesteryears is rewarding. We have achieved three dreams, namely, first-class construction licence, the Luban Award (the most prestigious construction award in China.) and our own office building in Wuxi.Today, Huaren has new visions. First, upgrading to Special Grade Construction licence is a gateway to a bigger market share； Second, to successfully construct super high-rise buildings；Third, striving again for the Luban Award；Fourth, complementing each other strengths and work as partner in projects. Fifth, upholding people-oriented philosophy and recruitment of talents；Sixth, Work with foreign enterprise so as to enhance and improve on management practices. Seventh, Not to be a guarantor to external parties and minimized liabilities.Our future dream is to jointly built a “Century Hua Ren”, which needs the team effort of all.
Today I also feel embarrassed. In August, when I was chatting with few of my friends about my 30 years’ with Hua Ren, they strongly suggested that I should have a celebration. Therefore, I summarized the memory of these 30 years and decided to publish a memoir.These memories are compiled in a book named '30 Years with Hua Ren,' which records my development over the years, the self reflection during the four-year illness, the comprehension of management during the 30-years tenure, self-praise and the discernment expressed by friends, partners and staff.There is no grandiloquence in the book, but if we have insomnia, reading it will certainly helps. Hereby, I would like to thank all for the stirring discernments which add luster to this book.
Today, on behalf of all staff in Hua Ren, I would like to thank friends who came from as far as England, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia to grace this event. I want to extend my deepest gratitude for your attendance. I regard the trust from friends and clients as our responsibility.I have been to Singapore in 1997 and the beautiful garden city had given me the deepest impression ; prosperous, clean, civilized, high literate and law abiding. Mr Lee Kuan Yew is a great man, who has managed the nation by using corporate style management. A small country with wisdom and wealth. Hua Ren will sincerely learn from Singapore corporate management practices. (Not so on contracts management but will do our best to execute well).Today, with so many foreign guests gracing this event, we feel very honored. As such, I hope you can know and have more in-depth knowledge of Huaren , have faith in Huaren and concern about Huaren.
Knowing there will be foreign guests attending tonight’s dinner, leaders from Yixing such as Mayor He would also like to take this opportunity to promote Yixing. We hope that our foreign friends will help to promote these places when they return home so as to have more foreign investors coming to my hometown ,Yixing to invest. The government of Yixing has high efficiency and transparency in work, service and special consideration to special matters. “Be responsible to investors” is the motto of our government and I will do my best to serve.

Today it is a great honor and pleasure to be invited by Huaren Group to attend this 30th thanksgiving ceremony at the same time, entrusted by Yixingmunicipal party Committee and Government. During 30 years, under the leadership of Chairman Pei Rennian, Huaren Group starts from Zhoutie Town in Yixing, Jiangsu Province, and goes global.Huaren has already become a national renowned construction group, which brings honour to Yixing City. On such a thanksgiving and blessing day,on behalf of Yixing municipal government, I’d like to express our sincere congratulations to the remarkable achievements obtained by Huaren Group. Please also convey our sincere gratitude to those who constantly show concerns and supportthe development of Huaren Group.
Yixing acts as a powerful support base to the development of Huaren Group. Yixing is located at the junctionof Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui Province. It is also the centre of the triangle formed by Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou. Yixing is one of those national historical and cultural cities with a long history and profound cultural deposit, which is also famous as thecapital ofceramic, the town of professor, and the town of painting and calligraphy. Yixing’s ecological environment is the best in the Yangtze River Delta region suitable for living and tourism with the natural beauty of rivers and mountains.Yixinghas many titles, such as national tourism city, national garden city, national sanitary city, national eco city and national award for the best living environment. In terms of economy, Yixing has a strong and dynamic economy with the GDP of more than 100 billion yuan in 2013, which counts No.7 in county-level competitiveness in China and is also titled “China’s top 10 cities at the county level”.
During the fast development pace of society and economy, especially in the acceleration process of urbanization, Yixing’s construction industry achieves a steep growth . In 2013, Yixing’s construction industry realized the GDP of 32 billion yuan and the number of construction enterprises reached 623. Yixing is also titled as the town of construction. As themost powerfuland largest leading enterprise with good reputation, Huaren Group prides itself for its quality delivery, innovation and customer service.After 30 years of fast development, Huaren Group has become a renowned construction group with strong influence and good reputation.In addition, Huaren actively engages in public welfare projects to benefit the people of hometown and to society at large which set an example for other enterprises to follow. In summary, Huaren’s 30-years of development history reflects the enterprise's determination, self-improvement, hard work and staff pursuit of excellence.
In terms of a company, 30 years development is just a small step in its growth. Every ambitious enterpriseshould have the dream and ambition to create a century-old enterprise. I hope that Huaren can take this ceremony as a new starting platform to establish a world-class and century-old company. Also hope that Huaren can keep up the passion and vigor to be a national bench marker as an innovation and flagship company in the construction industry. I hope all the partners and friends seated here would strengthen the cooperation with Huaren and help to realize its achievements. I also like to take this opportunity to invite all the guests and friends to visit Yixing .Yixing is a suitable city that welcomes all friends either as tourists, investors and/or residents. Let’s work together to create a mutual benefit and a win-win future.
